PayPro utilizes the CoinPayments.net API system to accept crypto currencies. You’ll need to set a few settings in the code to get things working. I use SublimeText to edit files. You can download SublimeText 3 here. Another one is NotePad++ which is pretty good too. Download that here.

Follow these steps to edit the files.

Navigate to the zip and open the folder “Main Website Files”.

You will need to unzip everything first so get that done.

Open the “application” folder.

Open the “config” folder.

Open “config.php” in your favorite text editor such as NotePad++ or Sublime Text.

On line 20 look for $config['base_url'] = ''; You need to put the URL to the root of the directory, typically the domain name. So it would look something like: $config['base_url'] = 'http://example.com/'; The domain must be in single quotes and have the end slash.

Save the file. You can close config.php now.

Open database.php which is also found in the config folder.

Scroll down to lines 67-70. Typically on shared hosting your database is on the same server as your web host, so line 67 is usually ‘localhost’ unless otherwise specified by your webhost.

Line 68 wants your username that has access to the database.

Line 69 wants the password to this username.

Line 70 wants the database name.

Make sure to save this file and close it.

You can edit the settings such as website title, email address, payment APIs in the admin section of the application.

Setup Billing

In order to setup billing you need to create a "cron job". A cron job is a command that executes at the time and interval you set. You can setup a cron job in cPanel very easily. You do not have to do this if you want a free website. Otherwise, set this up and make sure your gateway fee is set in the admin panel.

Navigate to your cPanel main page.

Look for Cron Jobs and click it. Usually at the bottom under "Advanced".

In the middle there should be "Add a new cron job".

In the "Common Settings" drop down, choose "Once Per Day".

You can adjust the hour you want it to run if you'd like, just make sure it is once per day.

In the "Command" input field, you want to type this: php -q http://yoursite.com/billing_cron

billing_cron is the function route that checks your users' billing and sends out reminders. You can learn about the billing in the FAQ section of this doc.

Click "Add New Cron Job".

And it will now be in the list of current cron jobs.

Every day at the hour you specified, http://yoursite.com/billing_cron will execute.

FAQ

How do I set an infinite usage for a coupon?

Simply set the expiry usage to "-1".

How do I set a coupon to 100% free?

If a coupon is set to 100% then the item will be free. The user can enter the free coupon, click apply, and then click Continue to Payment to receive their product for free!

What is the timeline for future features?

I am a one man team. I'm trying to pump out features constantly and efficiently.

When I log in why does it not redirect automatically?

You either went to the wrong URL that is defined in your base_url config.php file or you edited the files and messed something up. Example: The base_url is set to http://example.com/ but you navigated to http://www.example.com/signup. The WWW is causing problems! If you want to use www. make sure you htaccess the non-www to www. Google it.

Can I set a gateway fee?

Yes! You can now set a gateway fee in the admin panel. If the fee is set to 0 then there will be no fee and users will not need to worry about their billing. If it is set to a number that is greater than 0 users will be charged a gateway fee.

How does the billing work?

If the gateway fees in the admin panel are set to more than 0 percent then the billing is activated. Every day the cron job you have set up checks to see if the current date is two weeks before the coming month. If it is then a reminder email is sent out if users have a balance of more than 50 cents. 50 cents is the magic number since it is the lowest a stripe charge can take. On the first of every month the cron job will check all users current billing balance. If it is still not paid then the user's account and all products are disabled. A 2nd email is sent out alerting the user of this.
